Torso of a Woman
$ 1,625.00
The original of this clone is a white marble statue from the 1940s. Imperial Roman models and Classicism in general, which inspired this nude, were used to stir up nationalist rhetoric by the Fascist Regime governing Italy at the time, whilst letting artists develop their own aesthetic vision. This bust, in fact, exalts the more popularly feminine attributes, the bosom and belly, but depicts a young body, proud, dynamic and almost brazen.
The classical style and curvaceous softness of this eco-friendly design object result in an element particularly suitable to Art Nouveau settings or for those who aim to create a decidedly old-fashioned corner within an Eclectic atmosphere. Of course anyone more whimsical and extrovert would find this an ideal accessory for Camp settings.
Neutral colours, such as agate grey or pastel green, are ideal for Art Nouveau or Eclectic styles, while in a Camp environment this design object could be in a strong, vivid colour to harmonise with the atmosphere.
